We have different activities running each week at Moorhouse, and occasionally out and about in the local area. Some information about our different activities can be found below, followed by our calendar so you can see exactly when things are taking place.

Bible Study and Prayer

At 3pm till 4pm on the third Thursday of each month we have a Bible study and time of prayer.

Bereavement Cafe

Are you feeling sad or isolated following the loss of a loved one? Join us for our monthly Bereavement Cafe and bring a little happiness to your day.

We offer a relaxed, safe space to talk with others who are going through similar circumstances.

The Bereavement Cafe is led by Mark and meets of the 4th Saturday of each month between 11am and 1pm. If you would like more information, please contact us via Facebook.

Cafe Style Services

Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in the month (4 times a year) we have a Cafe Style service. This usually takes place in our Sunday School room, and is often more informal with more space for discussion and activity.

Messy Church

Messy Church is a fun time of worship, crafts, and activities. We meet monthly (usually on the 3rd Saturday) at 4pm until 6pm.

Each month we have a different theme. We do some activities, have some food, then have a short message about the theme from one of our leaders.

Messy Church is open to all families, children, their parents, grandparents or carers, though we do ask that children remain accompanied by an adult during Messy Church.

There is no charge, but people can make a donation if they wish.

Rock Solid

Rock Solid is a youth group for those aged 11 to 14, taking place every Wednesday during term time, 7.30pm till 9pm.

We play games, do activities, and talk about life. We also have a tuck shop.

Entry is 50p, with this money going towards activities like Ten Pin bowling.

The group has it’s own Facebook and Instagram pages where it shares the weekly theme.

Crafternoon

If you enjoy making things and having a natter you’ll fit right in at Crafternoon.

Taking place on the 3rd Monday of each month 1.30pm till 3.30pm.

Board Games For Bored Men

If you like to play board games or cards, then perhaps Board Games For Bored Men is for you.

Taking place 2pm till 4pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

During the summer if the weather is nice we put away the board games and head down the road to Thistleyfield Bowling Club.
